Jon Michael

Jon Michael drives the #3.99 Thunder Roadster Class car.  His home track is Lowes Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Concord Motorsports Park and Bristol Motor Speedway.  He lives in Charlotte, NC.  People who help Jon are:  Crew Chief - Michael Stone, PR - Robert Trevillian, and Paint & Body - Eric Burnham.

Jon started racing in 1997 in the Jr. 1 WKA GoKarts Class at Tyro Speedway for the fun.  His first win was in 1997  in the WKA class at Millbridge.  Career highlights include WKA Jr 1 National Champion in 1999 and runner up in 2000.  Jon finished the WKA Jr 2 4th in Points in NC in 2001.   He raced the Bandolero Series in 2002 and he's the first driver that was ever signed by Cici's Pizza Racing. 

His most exciting racing moment was racing from the back of the pack in a National Points race for a top 5 finish.  He's most proud of winning the '99 WKA Championship.
