Robert Long

Robert drives the #03 Semi Pro Class car.
He lives in Gastonia, N.C. His home track is Lowe's Motor Speedway but he
can also be found racing at Concord and Senoia.
He started racing in 1992 in Mod 4 Class
at Carolina Speedway, because his father raced when Robert was young. His
first win was in 1992 in Mod 4 Class at Carolina. Career highlights
include winning 28 out of 55 Races during the 1993 and 1994 Seasons at
Carolina Speedway.
The thrill of racing for Robert is the
speed. His most exciting racing moment was going over the wall at Cherokee
Speedway in 1997. He is most proud of being able to watch his two
sons run their first race in 2002.
Robert's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
Of racing, Robert says, " It's fun and a
good family sport to keep the family together and kids out of trouble."
