D J Vanderley

 D J Vanderley drives the #2 Semi Pro Class car.  His home track is Sunny South Raceway but he can also be found racing at Lowes, Lanier, Atlanta and Orlando.  He lives in Mobile, AL.

Team members helping D J are:  Mom, Dad, Impact Racing, Sister - Dana, Up Racing Fuels, Grandpa - Paul Vanderley.  Dan Vanderley is the car owner.

D J started racing in 1996 in the Quarter Midgets Class at J & J Speedway because his Dad and Grandpa raced and D J liked the speed.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include '96, '97 and '98 - J & J Speedway Champion, '99 - Sunny South Raceway Champion, '05 Hickory win.

The thrill of racing for D J is the speed and competition.  His most exciting racing moment was flipping down the front stretch at J&J Speedway in his Champ Kart.  He's most proud of winning his Championships. 

D J's racing hero is himself.
