Spencer Boyd drives the #18B Young Lions Legends Class car.  His home track is Charlotte Motor Speedway.  He lives in Concord, NC.

Team members helping Spencer are:  Mom, Dad, Adam Welsch, Beattie Racing.   Beattie Racing is the car owner.

Spencer started racing in 2001 in the Go Karts Class at SLKA because his Dad raced and Spencer started young and loves it now.  His first win was in '01 in the Kid Karts Class at SLKA.  Career highlights include 5 Midwest Championships in Go Karts, 2 Route 66 Championships in Go Karts, 1 SLKA Championship in Go Karts.

The thrill of racing for Spencer is to go fast and win!  His most exciting racing moment was winning in Ohio in a national event for WCA.  He's most proud of all the races and Championships he has won.

Spencer's racing hero is Kyle Busch.
