Mike Frate drives the #33 Late Model Class car.  His home track is Orange County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Myrtle Beach Speedway and South Boston VA.  He lives in Durham, NC.

Team members helping Mike are:  Kenn Dunn - Crew Chief, Susan Roberts - Fiance' and Moral Support, Anna Frate - daughter, Frank Johnson - first person to take a chance on Mike and put him in a car.  Scott Bales is the car owner.

Mike started racing in 1990 in the Go Karts Class at Raleigh NC because he'd always dreamed of racing.  His first win was in '91 in the Pro Class Go Karts at Raleigh NC.  Career highlights include being a low budget team and pulled off a 10th place finish in the Points in '11.

The thrill of racing for Mike is the competition.  He's most proud of doing something that he's always dreamed of.

Mike's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Of racing, Mike says, "Love to race!".
