Cameron Gammon

Cameron Gammon drives the #01 4 Cyl Class car.  He lives in Smithfield, NC.  His home track is Southern National Speedway.

Cameron's #01 car is the grey, black and red Ford Mustang.

He started racing in 2001 in the Jr. Late Model Class at SNS for the excitement and love of the sport.  His first win was in 2002 in the Jr. Late Model Class at SNS.  Career highlights include winning the very first race he was ever in and won 4 races in 2002.

The thrill of racing for Cameron is racing side by side for the position ......that is a big thrill!  His most exhilarating racing moment was racing side by side for the win in 2002 winning by a few centimeters!  He's most proud of all the help and support he gets each week by his crew, members and family.

Cameron's Dad, who raced for 3 years before Cameron started, is Cameron's racing hero.

Of racing, Cameron says, "It is more fun than basketball, football, baseball and any other sport, in my opinion!".
