Tim Smith drives the #44 Bomber Class car.  He lives in Clayton, NC.  His home track is Southern National Speedway.

Tim's #44 car is the black and yellow Chevy Caprice.

He started racing in 2001 in the Bomber Class at Wayne County Speedway because he'd loved it since childhood.  His first win was in 2001 in the Bomber Class at Wayne County Speedway.  Career highlights include 4 wins as Rookie and finished 2nd in the Points, 2 wins his 2nd season and finishing 2nd in his first race on asphalt. 

The thrill of racing for Tim is after driving in Raleigh, you can let it all hang out, great stress reliever!  His most exhilarating racing moment was his first win!  He's most proud of all the friends that he's made.  They are truly great people that are willing to help you out, even if they are a competitor.
