Michael Dixon drives the #5 Bomber Class car.  He lives in Kenly, NC.  His home track is Southern National Speedway.

Michael's #5 car is the black and red 1978 Chevy Impala 350.

He started racing in 2002 in the Bomber Class at SNS because it looked like lots of fun.  He was the 2002 Southern National Speedway Bomber Champion!

The thrill of racing for Michael is pushing the car to it's limits.  His most exhilarating racing moment was the first lap of his first race.  He's most proud of all the friends that he's made.

Dale Earnhardt is Michael's racing hero.

Of racing, Michael says, "It's fun to watch but it's ALOT more fun to race!".
