Randy Powell drives the #88 Street Stock 4 Class car. He lives in Lincolnton, NC. His home track is East Lincoln but he can also be found racing at Antioch..

His crew and people who have helped include, Jessie Rowe, Amber Powell, Lil Randy Powell, Pam Keller, Scott Welch, Reuben Rowe, Bo Powell, John Boy and Samantha White.

He started racing in 2002 in the Rookie Class at East Lincoln Speedway as it was something to do where you get results.  His first win was in 2002 in the  Rookie 4 Class at Harris Speedway.  Career highlights include his first Feature win and not being afraid to race anywhere anytime.  Raced at 7 tracks in his rookie year and only had one DNF.

In 2003 Randy ran several tracks mainly East Lincoln and Southern Thunder. He won 17 races 11 at Southern Thunder and 5 at East Lincoln and one at Buffalo. Randy won driver of the year at East Lincoln. Randy won the July 4th shoot out at Buffalo, and the Big stock 4 race at East Lincoln.  

In 2004 he drove a new car built by Young Gun racing. He won the track championships at Southern Thunder and East Lincoln. He won a Championship at Taylorsville

The thrill of racing for Randy is meeting people and going to new tracks.  His greatest racing thrill was winning at Harris Speedway on his 3rd time racing there.  His greatest racing accomplishment was 2 wins and 1 DNF in 20 races in his 1st year.

Randy plans to have fun and be competitive no matter where we race.
