Mike Bivins drives the "Friday the 13th" Limited Sportsman Class car.  His home track is Thunder Valley Speedway but he can also be found racing at Cherokee Super Speedway.  He lives in Lawndale, NC.

Team members helping Mike are:  Susan Bivins, John Bivins, Jimmy Chapman, Bill Holland, Luc "Dirty Head" Pulin. 

Mike started racing in 2002 in the Stock 8 Class at Thunder Valley Speedway for fun.  His first win was in 2003 in the Stock 8 Class at Thunder Valley Speedway.  Career highlights include 2005 Points Champion in Limited Sportsman.

The thrill of racing for Mike is winning.  His most exciting racing moment was flipping twice at Cherokee Super Speedway.  He's most proud of doing all the work to maintain car and building from bumper to bumper.

Mike's racing hero is Buck Oswald.

Of racing, Mike says, "Need lots of money or be willing to be poor!".
