Joey Barker drives the #16 Stock 8 Class car.  His home track is Thunder Valley Speedway but he can also be found racing at Antioch Speedway.  He lives in Connelly Springs, NC.

Joey started racing in 2001 in the Stock 8 Class at Antioch Speedway and Thunder Valley Speedway because he was crazy....you tell him!  His first win was in 2002 in the Super Stock V8 Class at Antioch Speedway.  Career highlights include 2003 Track Championship in Super Stock V8 at Antioch Speedway, 2005 Track Championship in Stock 8 at Antioch Speedway, 28 Feature wins (25 wins in same car, 3 wins in another car and 1 win so far this year). 

The thrill of racing for Joey is that he lives for danger!  His most exciting racing moment was the $1200 Limited Sportsman win at Antioch Speedway from starting in the rear against the likes of Robert Bradley.  He's most proud of 2 Points Championships, many wins and being competitive at other tracks.
