Jason Pack drives the #17 Crate Late Model
Class car. His home track is Thunder Valley Speedway but he can
also be found racing all around. He lives in Shelby, NC.

Jason started racing in 1986 in the
Rookie Class at Jim's Go Kart Track because his uncle did it. His
first win was in 1987 in the Rookie Class at Jim's Go Kart Track.
Career highlights include winning 7 Track Championships at Burk Creek in
Karts, won Super Stock State Championship in '98 in Karts, won
Controlled Stock National Championship in '98 in Karts, won several
races across the country in cars and Karts.
The thrill of racing for Jason is the
competitiveness, the speed and just being around the people. His
most exciting racing moment was picking up his first Crate win in '06.
He's most proud of being known as a hard but clean driver.
Jason's racing hero is Darrell Waltrip.
Of racing, Jason says, "It is not a
redneck sport!".
