Brad Bivens drives the #44 Performance Crate Late Model Class car.  His home track is Thunder Valley Speedway but he can also be found racing at Cherokee Super Speedway and Lancaster Motor Speedway.  He lives in Charlotte, NC.

Team members helping Brad are:  Kenny Rominger Sr., Ken Rominger Jr., and Dale Miller.  Car owners are Jerry Jennings (deceased) and Brad Bivens.

Brad started racing in 1989 in the V-8 Class at Newport Speedway in TN after starting out as a crew member helping Kenny Rominger Sr., Brad then built his own car.  Career highlights include getting to lap in practice session at Lowes Motor Speedway in a Old Busch Grand National Car in '89, racing Limited Sportsman off and on for the past 5 years and finishing 6th in Points at Thunder Valley Speedway in the first year of a Late Model.

The thrill of racing for Brad is passing and outrunning teams with big budgets and crews since Brad does most of everything by himself.  His most exciting racing moment were the practice sessions at 1.5 mile at Lowes Motor Speedway.  He's most proud of finishing and keeping out of trouble and being able to run several tracks pretty well.

Brad's racing hero is his Dad, Sonny Bivens who was into Drag Racing but gave it up for his family.

Of racing, Brad says, "You gotta go!  It is the best deal out there!".
