Robbie Weaver

Robbie Weaver drives the #5 Limited Sportsman Class car.  He lives in Shelby, NC.  His home track is Thunder Valley Speedway but he can also be found racing at Cherokee Speedway.

He started racing in 1987 in the Baby Bombers Class at Cherokee Speedway because he'd always gone to the races and liked them.  His first win was in 1988 in the Baby Bomber Class at Cherokee Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Robbie is the competition.  His most exhilarating racing moment was winning the race on the last lap in the last corner at Cherokee Speedway.  He's most proud of making a lot of friends and being able to help people.

Robbie's racing hero is his stepfather, Herby James.

Of racing, Robbie says, "Just enjoy it!".
