Chuck Philbeck drives the #64 Stock 8 class car. He lives in Bostic, North Carolina. His home track is Thunder Valley Speedway. He can also be seen at Harris.

Chuck began racing in 1999 in the Stock 8 Class at Harris and Thunder Valley after watching enough and deciding to give it a try. His first win was in 2003  Chuck bought a new car that will handle this year and he is starting to improve.  Knowing that it wasn't just his Dad driving before is a highlight to him.

The thrill of racing for him is the competition and the friends. His most exhilarating moment was winning his first Heat this year.  He's most proud that they haven't let racing come before God.

Chuck's racing hero is Ward Burton.

Of racing, Chuck says, "It's all just having fun ...give it a try anyway you can!".
