Kim Sherbert

Kim Sherbert drives the #7 IMCA Modified Class car.  He lives in Lincolnton, NC.  His home track is Thunder Valley Speedway.

He started racing in 1990 in the at East Lincoln Speedway because it was a family sport.  His first win was in the Modified 4 Class at East Lincoln.  Career highlights include 3rd in the Points at East Lincoln in '96 in the Stock 4 Class and 3rd in the Points at East Lincoln in '97 in the Mod 4 Class.

The thrill of racing for Kim is that it's exciting to watch but driving is even better.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the Coca Cola 600 on Mark Martin's team.  He's most proud of working on a Winston Cup Team.

Of racing, Kim says, "It aint easy....a lot of hard work!".
