Jay Sessoms  lives in Stanley, North Carolina. His home track is East Lincoln Motor Speedway. He can also be seen at Thunder Valley.

Jay began racing in 1987 in the Super Stock Class at Metrolina Speedway for the love of speed. His first win was in 1995 in the Thunder & Lightning Class at Metrolina Speedway.  Career highlights include his two Track Championships.

The thrill of racing for him is winning. His most exhilarating moment was winning at his home track of Metrolina Speedway.

Jay's racing hero is Henry Sessoms, his father.

Of racing, Jay says, "Always try hard and don't give up on that first win!".
