Howard Maxey drives the #8 Crate Late Model Class car.  His home track is Riverside Speedway but he can also be found at Toccoa Motor Speedway, Thunder Valley Speedway and Westminster.  He lives in Six Mile, SC.

Team members helping Howard are:  Cliff Nix, Buddy Berry, Hot Rod LaMance, and Woody Burkhalter. 

Howard starting racing in 2000 in the Stock 8 Class at Toccoa Motor Speedway because he enjoyed racing.  His first win was in 2001 in the Enduro Class at Toccoa Motor Speedway.  Career highlights include 2002 Cadet Championship at Toccoa Motor Speedway and 2005 finishing 2nd in Points at Riverside Speedway in Crate Late Model.

Howard's racing hero is Hot Rod LaMance.
