Joshua Robbins drives the #99 Limited
Sportsman Class car. He lives in Kings Mt. N.C. His home track is Cherokee
Super Speedway in Gaffney S.C. but he can also be found racing at
Thunder Valley.
He started racing in 1994 in the
Rookie (Go Karts) at Table Rock, because he had always liked racing
and it was something he had always wanted to do. His first win was
in 2002 in Stock 8 Class at Antioch. Career highlights include, 1st in
Points Championship at Thunder Valley in 2002, Win at Antioch in 2002, Win
at Thunder Valley in 2004, 3rd in Points Championship at Cherokee in 2003.
The thrill of racing for Joshua is
"Keeping it shiny side up between the guardrails." His most exciting
racing moment is passing the leader on the white flag. He is most
proud of the fact that he is still racing.
Joshua's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
Of racing, Joshua says, " Don't give
up. It gets hard at times, but keep going, it'll work out in the
end".
