John drives the #9 Late Model Class car. 

He started racing in 1981 in the 6 Cyl Class at Lancaster Motor Speedway because he'd been around racing all his life.  His first win was in 1989 in the 6 Cyl at Carolina Speedway.  Career highlights include Points Championship at Lancaster Speedway, Carolina Speedway and Sugar Creek.
