Scott  Gilbert drives the #93 Late Model Class car. He lives in Lenoir, N.C. His home track is Tri County but he can also be found racing at Hickory and Concord.

He began racing in 1996 at Tri County in Pure Stock Class out of the love of the sport and thrill of the ride. Career highlights include, Pole at Abington, Va., Learning whole new race except for the last lap.

The thrill of racing for Scott is driving a fast, good handling car. His most exciting racing moment was his first race in a Late Model car. He is most proud of building and driving his own cars and being competitive.

His racing hero is Harry Gant.

Of racing, Scott says, "It's a lot of fun, a lot of work, some heartache, try it and you'll love it."
