Barry Lowe

Barry Lowe drives the #72 Super Late Model Class car.  He lives in Fletcher, NC.  His home track is Newport Speedway in Newport TN. but he can also be found racing at I-75 in KY.

He started racing in 1990 in the Late Model Sportsman Class at Asheville, NC. because he grew up with his father who raced in Busch Grand National.  His first win was in 1992 in the Late Model Sportsman Class at Anderson Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Barry is building race cars then driving what you built.  His most exciting racing moment is every racing moment.  He's most proud of cars that he's built and worked on and seeing them do good. 

Barry's racing hero is his father.

Of racing, Barry says, "That it is very easy to get it in your blood!".
