Steven Smith

Steven Smith drives the #1 Pro 4 Modified Class car.  He lives in Fuquay Varina, NC.  His home track is Wake County Speedway but he can also be found racing at Southern National Speedway.

He started racing in 1994 in the Legends Class touring.  His first win was in that same year at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  Career highlights include 1998 Legends Track Champion at Wayne County Speedway and 2003 Track Champion at Wake County Speedway in Modified 4.

The thrill of racing for Steven is the team work, competition, and individual commitment to a team effort.  His most exciting racing moment was flipping the car at Wake County Speedway.  He's most proud of tutoring his kids in racing.

Steven's racing hero is Cole Trickle in Days of Thunder.
