Walt Gibson drives the #20 Super Late Model Class car.  His home track is Wake County Speedway.  He lives in Wake Forest, NC.

Team members helping Walt are:  Rusty Gray - Crew Chief and Fabricator, Casey Taylor - Crew.  Edward and Johnny Averette are the car owners.

Walt started racing in 1992 in the Limited Late Model Class at Wake County Speedway because he always wanted to race and he grew up around it.  His first win was in that same year.  Career highlights include Track Championship in 1993, 1994 in Limited Late Model and 2004 in Super Late Model.

The thrill of racing for Walt is going fast.  His most exciting racing moments are to many to list.  He's most proud of his 3 Track Championships at Wake County Speedway.

Walt's racing hero is Don Macon.

Of racing, Walt says, "It is a good way to stay busy and out of trouble!".
