Bart Edwards
#4
Bart Edwards drives the #4 Economy Street
Stock Class car. His home track is Wake County Speedway.
He started racing in 1992 in the Economy
Street Stock Class at Wake County Speedway because he had been a fan since
he was a child. His first win was in 1993 in the Economy Street
Class at Wake County Speedway. Bart had back to back Track
Championships in 2000 and 2001.
The thrill of racing for Bart is the side
by side short track racing. His most exciting racing moment was when
he raced side by side with Terry Adams for 16 laps before taking the
victory. He's most proud of his efforts to be a good, clean driver.
Terry Labonte is Bart's racing hero.
Of racing, Bart says, "It's not the
backwoods sport you think it is!".
