Glenn Sears

Glenn Sears drives the #51 Limited Late Model Class car.  He lives in Apex, NC.  His home track is Wake County Speedway.

He started racing in 1978 in the 6 Cyl Class car at Fayetteville Motor Speedway because his father had always raced cars.  His first win was in 1980 in the Late Model Class at Wilson County.  Career highlights include 1984 ARCA 150 at Atlanta win, 1985 ARCA 200 at Daytona win, 1996 Track Championship at Southern National and 2003 Track Championship at Wake County Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Glenn is seeing the crew get excited after a win.  His most exciting racing moment was winning Daytona ARCA 200 and being congratulated by Bobby Allison.  He's most proud of all the friends he's made. 

Glenn's racing heroes are Bobby Allison and Tom Usry.
