Tony started racing in 1992 in the 4 Cyl
Stock Class at Wake County Speedway because his Dad raced a long time
ago so it in Tony's blood. He decided to give it a try and has
raced ever since. His first win was in 1994 in the 4 Cyl Mod Class
at Wake County Speedway. Career highlights include Wake County
Speedway - 4 Cyl Modified '94 -1 win, '95 - 4 wins, '96 first Point
Championship and 9 wins, raced at Kenly SNS - 1 win in Pro Truck in '01.
The thrill of racing for Tony is going
fast. His most exciting racing moment was when they had a big
wreck and he ended up under his Step-Dad and others who went over the
fence or wall in turn 1. He's most proud of winning a
Championship! He was always told that deaf people couldn't race
and win and I did and was very proud!!!
Tony's racing heroes are his Dad,
Step-Dad and Jeff Gordon.
Of racing, Tony says, "Do it!".
