Bob Carter
#8
Bob Carter drives the #8 Modified 4 Cyl
Class car. He lives in Fuquay Varina, NC. His home track is
Wake County Speedway.
He started racing in 1992 in the
Modified 4 Cyl Class at Wake County Speedway for the love of the sport,
the action and the competition. His first win was in 1994 at
Southern National Speedway. Career highlights include 6 straight
wins at Southern National Speedway including winning both races in a twin
inverted field race. This year has been an awesome year for our
team. Having a car owner and sponsor such as Ronnie Hyatt and North
Carolina Iron Works are also highlights.
The thrill of racing for Bob is the
competition with the other racers that love the sport as he does and want
to finish first the same as he does. His most exciting racing moment
was winning the 100 lap race at Wake County Speedway this year. He's
most proud of winning the "Most Popular Driver Award" at Wake County
Speedway in 2002 and 2003.
Dale Earnhardt is Bob's racing hero.
Of racing, Bob says, "Drive it like you
stole it!". |
