Shawn Lawson drives the #27 Economy Street Stock Class car.  He lives in Apex, NC.  His home track is Wake County Speedway.

He started racing in 2001 in the Economy Street Stock Class at Wake County Speedway for bragging rights.  His first win was in 2003 in the Economy Street Stock Class at Wake County Speedway.  He's won 2 Heat races and finished 5th in the Points in his 2nd year.

The thrill of racing for Shawn is the horse power.  His most exciting racing moment was winning. 

Dale Earnhardt Sr. is Shawn's racing hero.
