Chris Bowers

Chris Bowers drives the #79 Late Model Sportsman Class car.  He lives in Washington, NC.  His home track is Wake County Speedway but he can also be found racing in East Carolina Motor Speedway, Southern National Speedway, and Concord Motor Sports Park.

He started racing in 1999 in the Late Model Sportsman Class at Robersonville because he always loved racing. 

The thrill of racing for Chris is being behind the wheel and being at the end of the race with the car in one piece.  His most exciting racing moment was going to a new track and being able to run up front with the regulars.  He's most proud of how far he has come in racing since 1999 and the support of his family and friends.

Dale Earnhardt is Chris's racing hero.

Of racing, Chris says, "Racing is exciting and you can get all your family involved in helping you!".
