Tommy Turner

Tommy Turner drives the T-3 Modified 4 Class car.  He lives in Raleigh, NC.  His home track is Wake County Speedway.

Team members helping Tommy are:  Son - Chris, David Clark built the car.

Tommy started racing in 1987 in the Modified 4 Class at Wake County Speedway after many years of watching and wondering if I could.  Kids were finally grown so decided to give it a try.  He was tired of watching and it gave him a chance to work with his son.  He's always finished in the top 10 in Points and Top 5 twice.

The thrill of racing for Tommy is also racing Drag Boat where he's won 3 National Championships and 100+ races.  Tommy's most exciting racing moment was finishing 3rd in the Biggest Race of the Year in '04.  He's most proud of developing his son to a first class winning racer.  He teaches at Fast Track Division Schools.

Tommy's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt and Curtis Turner.
