Johnnie Hamilton

Johnnie Hamilton drives the #11a Super Street Class car.  He lives in Rocky Mount, NC.  His home track is County Line Raceway but he can also be found racing at Wayne County Speedway.

Johnnie's #11a car is the red, white and blue 2000 Monte Carlo 361 ci V8.

He started racing in 2002 in the Pure Stock Class at Wayne County Speedway and County Line Raceway because he's been around racing all of his life.....horses and drag cars.  His highlights include completing his first race.  He's still working on the rest!

The thrill of racing for Johnnie is when you strap in, crank up and hold on......everything else just disappears!  His most exhilarating racing moment was trying to tear the wall down between turns 1 and 2 at Wayne County Speedway in 2002!  

He's most proud that all of his family participates in racing together.

Johnnie's racing hero is his Grandfather, Jack Hamilton, #11a.

Of racing Johnnie says, "It's just plain fun!".
