Buddy Isles Sr. drives the #11 Super Street/Thunder & Lightning Class car.  His home track is Clarys Speedway but he can also be found racing at Wayne County Speedway.  He lives in Littleton, NC.

Team members helping Buddy are:  Buddy Jr, Kenny Wilson, David Height, Matt Height, Dan Blaylock, Dal Bobbitt. 

Buddy started racing in 1976 in the Super Street Stock Class car at Chantly Raceway because of his need for speed.  He loves to drive fast and turn left.  His first win was in 1978 in the Super Street Class car. at Chantly Raceway.  Career highlights include Point Championship in 2002 after starting back racing in 2001, from 2002 - 2006 had 71 wins in Super Street, 2002 won 7 out of 7 races, 2003 won 19 out of 21 races, 2004 won 17 out of 19 races, 2005 won 11 out of 14 races and so far in 2006 won 13 out of 16 starts.

The thrill of racing for Buddy is the speed and good hard racing with other drivers.  His most exciting racing moment was last race in 2003 with Big Race with 19 wins out of 21 races.  He's most proud of getting his son started at the age of 15 in 2005 and watching him winning.  He will be one of the best!

Buddy's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
