Russell Boyd drives the #16 Bomber Class car.  He lives in Henderson, NC.  His home track is Kings Raceway but he can also be found racing at Clary's Speedway and Wayne County Speedway.

He started racing in 1994 in the Demo Derby at Henderson County Fairgrounds because he wanted more action than one night a year so he switched to circle track dirt racing.  His first dirt track win was in 2000 in the Bomber Class at Schloss Speedway.  Career highlights include Kings Speedway Track Champion in 2002 and Schloss Speedway Points Champion in 2001 & 2002.

The thrill of racing for Russell is just having a good night and finishing a race.

Russell's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Russell says, "You can't have much more fun on a Friday or Saturday night than racing!".
