Ronnie Boykin drives the #36 Late Model
Class car. He lives in Wilson, NC. His home track is Wayne
County Speedway but he can also be found racing at County Line Speedway.
He started racing in 1982 in the Sprint
Car Class at North Paulson Speedway at Taylorsville because his Father
raced. His first win was in 1984 in the Sprint Car Class at Monroe.
Career highlights include 2001 Track Champion in Stock 4 and 2003 Track
Champion in Modified 4.
The thrill of racing for Ronnie is going
fast. His most exciting racing moment was the first Modified win
with Lewis Denton #03 on the track. He's most proud of the only car
(one) to ever out run the #03 Modified 4 four times in a row.
Ronnie's racing hero is his Father, J.D.
Boykin.
Of racing, Ronnie says, "Try it, you'll
like it!".
