Pete Hill drives the #74 Pure Stock Class car.  He lives in Rocky Mount, NC.  His home track is Wayne County Speedway but he can also be found racing at County Line Raceway.

Pete's #74 car is the purple and white Chevy, BL chassis, Mark Batten engine.

He started racing in the Pure Stock Class at Wayne County Speedway because he just loves the sport.  His first win was in 1993 in the Pure Stock Class at County Line Raceway.  He has had 8 wins in one year.

The thrill of racing for Pete is that it is exciting!  His most exhilarating racing moment was being in his first big money race and he won it!  He's most proud of winning!
