Wayne Gray Jr. drives the #88 Open Wheel Modified Class car.  He lives in Fayetteville, NC.  His home track  is Fayetteville Motor Sports Park, but he can also be found racing at Wayne County Speedway.

He started racing in 1991 in the Modified 4 Class at Fayetteville Motor Sports Park and Carolina Speedway as a hobby and his Father raced.  His first win was in 1991 at Carolina Speedway.  Career highlights include 1994 -1995 Track Championship at Fayetteville Motor Sports Park and Carolina Speedway in 4 Cyl Modified.

The thrill of racing for Wayne is winning the Track Championships.  His most exciting racing moment is the drop of the green flag.  He's most proud of his Dad and their close relationship together.
