Jerry Johnson Sr. drives the #98 Sportsman Class car.  He lives in Stedman, NC.  His home track is Fayetteville Motor Speedway but he can also be found racing at Wayne County Speedway.

He started racing in 1978 in the Pure Stock Class at Fayetteville Motor Speedway because his Dad raced.  His first win was July 4, 1984 in the Pure Stock Class at Fayetteville Motor Speedway.  Career highlights include over 100 wins and 8 Super Street Championships.
