William A. Carroll

William A. Carroll drives the #U2 4 Cyl Class car.  He lives in Rocky Mount, NC.  His home track is County Line Raceway but he can also be found racing at Wayne County Speedway.

William's #U2 car is the red and yellow Ford Mustang, '87 model Mustang chassis, engine 4c.

He started racing in 2001 in the 4 Cyl Class car at County Line Raceway because he always liked racing and loves competition.  His first win was in 2002 in the 4 Cyl at Wayne County Speedway.  William says, "every race is a highlight for me!".

The thrill of racing for William is the fast heartbeat experience.  His most exhilarating racing moment was the first win.  He's most proud that he is able to return and race every week.

William's racing hero is the 74 Powder Puff winner, Nule Hill.

Of racing, William says, "It's the need for speed!".
