Joe Feyen
#25x
Joe Feyen drives the #25x Pro Am Class
car. His home track is Nebraska Raceway Park but he can also be
found racing at Harlen Speedway. He lives in Beaver Lake, NE.
Team members helping Joe are:
Karie Feyen - wife, Roger Ripley - father-in-law, Curt Drake and Joey
Worthan.
He started racing in 1998 in the Hobby
Stock Class at Nebraska Raceway Park because he'd gotten to old for
racing motorcycles. His first win was in 1999 in the Hobby Stock
Class at Nebraska Raceway Park. Career highlights include Hobby
Stock Track Champion at I-80 Speedway in 2000 and 2001, Eagle Raceway
Fall Jamboree winner Pro Am Class, King of the Hill in Hobby Stock in
2001 and 2 wins at Nebraska Raceway Park this year.
The thrill of racing for Joe is making
your car work better with different setups. His most exciting
racing moment was winning at Eagle on a track he had never raced on
before. He's most proud of winning two Hobby Stock Championships
in a row with a car he built on his own.
Joe's racing hero is Gary Webb.
Of racing, Joe says, "How everybody
involved with racing is like a big family willing to help each other
out!".
