Dusty Ballenger drives the #2D ASCS 360 Sprint Class car.  His home track is Huset's Speedway.  He lives in Harrisburg, SD.

Team members helping Dusty are:  Steve, Chris, Del, Jeff.  Loren Barstad is the car owner.

Dusty started racing in 2000 in the 360 Sprint Class at I-90 Speedway following in his Father's footsteps.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2000 Rookie of the Year at I-90 Speedway, Rapid Speedway, Huset's Speedway, 2000 Track Champion at Rapid Speedway, 2001 National Points Champion and 45 Feature wins.

The thrill of racing for Dusty is the competition and speed.  His most exciting racing moment was his 410 win at Huset's Speedway using a 360 engine.  Terry McCarl was 2nd.  He's most proud of being able to compete every week at almost any track.

Dusty's racing heroes are his Dad - Steve Ballenger, Wolfgang and Kinser.
