Derek Drown drives the #31RB Sprint Class car.  He races with the NCRA series.  He lives in Amarillo, TX.

Team members helping Derek are:  Danny King, Shane Bangerter, Donnie, Brandon, Bryan, Stephanie, Alex, Colton.  Shane Bangerter and Danny King are the car owners.

Derek started racing in 1999 in the Sprint Class at Route 66 Motor Speedway because a hobby turned into a full time job.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Track Champion in 2000 at Route 66 Motor Speedway, Rookie of the Year in 2001 NCRA, won 49th Annual Hutchison Nationals, won his first Feature very first time driving a Sprint car.

The thrill of racing for Derek is the adrenaline fix and all the great friends he's made.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first time out and winning the Hutch Nationals.  He's most proud of the friends he's made.
