Jon Freeman drives the #81 NCRA Sprint Class car.  His home track is 81 Speedway.  He lives in Salina, KS.

Team members helping Jon are:  Greg Freeman, Mike Butler, Brian Ward, Jake Stern, and the whole family.

Jon started racing in 2000 in the NCRA 360 Sprint Car class because his Dad owned a car in the '70's and '80's.  Jon got bit by the bug!  His first win was in 2001 in the Sprint Car Class at 81 Speedway.  Career highlights include 2000 Rookie of the Year at 81 Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Jon is the intense competition.  His most exciting racing moment was sitting on the Pole for the 2002 Hutchinson Nationals.  He's most proud of how well the team works together for being a young crew.

Jon's racing hero is Shelby Steenson, who drove for Jon's Dad.
