Gordy Vogelaar drives the #99V 360 Sprint Class car.  His home track is Jackson Speedway.  He lives in Worthington, MN.

Gordy started racing in 1982 in the Sprint Class at Jackson Speedway because he'd always been interested in racing as a kid.  His first win was in 1984 in the Sprint Class at Rock Rapids.  Career highlights include 5 time Jackson Speedway Champion, 2 times Rock Rapids Champion, 1 Worthington Championship, 1 Hartford Champion, 3 time Wessota National Championship Runner Up, 1994-'98 65 Feature wins.

The thrill of racing for Gordy is the competition and just the thrill.  Driving a sprinter is awesome.  Everybody should have the chance to do it.  His most exciting racing moment was anytime you win is exciting but running with the Outlaws is always fun.  Just a good hard race where you give it all you got is satisfying.  He's most proud of lasting this long in the sport as a hired driver.  Also the amazing people we have met over the years.  Racing people are really neat people.
