John Riggleman drives the #85 Pro Am Class car.  His home track is Nebraska Raceway Park but he can also be found racing at Shelby County Speedway.  He lives in Omaha, NE.

Team members helping John are:  Russ Joons, Jeremy Riggleman, Roger Harpster.  Car owners are Russ Joons and John Riggleman.

John started racing in 1981 in the Bomber Class at Quartz Mountain Speedway just for fun.  His first win was that same year. 

The thrill of racing for John is going through the corner at full throttle and have the car stick!  His most exciting racing moment was his very first ace.  He took the lead on the first lap in turn 2.  He was scared to death.  He's most proud of just being able to compete with some of the best drivers in the country. 

John's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, John says, "I watched racing from the stands for a number of years and like many fans, I found myself saying, "That does not look so hard".  Well, I'm here to tell you do not think it is easy until you have set your tail end in a car and pulled the belts tight.  You will never know what it's like in that car from the stands!  Age is just a number, you are only as old as you let yourself get!".
