Zig Geno drives the #57 Prostock Class car.  His home track is Canaan Fair Speedway but he can also be found racing at Thompson Speedway and Lee USA Speedway.  He lives in Canterbury, NH.

Team members helping Zig are:  Bill Barnett, Syd Bourne, Sue Barnett.  Les Smith is the car owner.

Zig started racing in 1985 in the Street Stock Class at Bryar Motorsports Park/NHIS because he went to the races every week and had a friend who raced.  His first win was in 2005 in the Prostock Class at Canaan Fair Speedway.  Career highlights include2004 Prostock Championship at Canaan Fair Speedway, 2005 first Feature win in Prostock at Canaan Fair Speedway, 2005 Prostock Championship at Canaan Fair Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Zig is the love of speed, nothing like having a car that sticks on the outside.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first Feature.  He's most proud of back to back Prostock Championships with only one win between them.

Zig's racing heroes are Milt Wright, Kenny Shrader, Neil Bonnett and Dale Earnhardt.

Of racing, Zig says, "It is such a tremendous sport.  I guarantee that if you check out a local short track race, you will be bit by the racing bug.  It doesn't make you a bad person!".
