Bob Banks Jr. drives the #Z11 IMCA Modified Class car.  His home track is Utica Rome Speedway but he can also be found racing at Fonda Speedway and Skyline Raceway.  He lives in Hudson, NY.

Bob Banks Jr. started racing in 1985 in a Street Stock at Lebanon Valley Speedway because he had gone to the races as a child with his mom and dad.   His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2004 Skyline IMCA Track Champion, 6 IMCA Feature wins and 2 Street Stock Feature wins.

The thrill of racing for Bob is doing the very best you can on race day, with what you have.  His most exciting racing moment was winning a Feature race with family and friends at the track.  He's most proud of his first Track Championship.

Dale Earnhardt is Bob's racing hero.

Of racing, Bob says, "Work hard and don't quit.  Your dreams can come true!  I hate racing!".
