John Scarborough drives the #61s Modified Class car.  His home track is Fonda Speedway but he can also be found racing at Utica Rome Speedway.  He lives in Bomoseen, VT.

Team members helping John are Robyn, Frankie, Lula, Frank Sr, Mark and Brett.  Scarborough Motorsports is the car owner.

John started racing in 1986 in the 2 Cycle Go Karts at Dodge City Speedway and Sugarhill Raceway because he was involved in working on cars and decided to go racing himself.  His family was involved in local racing.  His first win was in 1987 in Go Karts at Sugarhill Raceway.  Career highlights include 1989 Hygroove Championship, 1994 Frogtown Championship, 2006 Fonda Speedway Championship, 40 career Feature wins, 470 Career starts, raced on both dirt and asphalt in 4 states and 2 Canadian Providences.

His most exciting racing moment was the 2006 Fonda Speedway Championship and 3 wins.  He's most proud of Fonda Speedway wins and Championship.  Some guys have raced there for many years and never have won a race or a Championship.  The place has a ton of history.

John's racing heroes are Coville and Tony Stewart.
