Kayla Hamrick drives the #K11 4 Cylinder Class car.  Her home track is Skyline Speedway but she can also be found racing at Tyler County Speedway, I-77 Speedway, Ohio Valley Speedway and Beckley Speedway.  She lives in Portland, OH.

Team members helping Kayla are:  Carpenter & Gibson Racing Team, Phillip Conners, Allen Hamrick, Derick Hamrick, George Klintworth, Zack Dohm, Sara Brookover, Dallas Carpenter.  George Klintworth is the car owner.

Kayla started racing in 2007 in the 4 Cylinder Class at Skyline Speedway because her cousin, Allen Hamrick, sold parts at the Dirt Tracks and now he works for poske. Freddie Carpenter.  Her first win was that same year. 

The thrill of racing for Kayla is the dirt flying when you are racing and the smell of the racing fuel.  Her most exciting racing moment was when Freddie Carpenter won the past races in the Late Model Class and his boys driving like their Dad...Uncle Rodney racing.  She's most proud of going out on the track and not being afraid of racing. 

Kayla's racing heroes are Freddie Carpenter, Chris Carpenter, Tyler Carpenter, Rodney Gibson, Raquel Wolfe, Sara Brookover, Greg Mitchell, Josh Richards, Donnie Moran and Zack Dohm.

Of racing, Kayla says, "Get out there and race!".
