Benny races AMRA modifieds out of from Pomeroy Oh.. His car is a 421 Chevy with a Stotts Chassis.  Benny began racing in hobby stock at Skyline speedway in 1974.  It "looked like fun" so he started. He got his first win his rookie year at Skyline speedway.

In 1985 Benny won the Skyline track championship in hobby stock, and the Mountain 100.  2001 bought a AMRA road warrior Tour Runner up.

In 2002 Benny was inducted into the Dirt Track Racing Roundup Hall of Fame.

He has 2 big AMRA wins at Pennsboro speedway and Ekins speedway.

He is most proud of his 1985 track Championship.
